A Right Royal T Party
The bunting came out in full force on the sunny morning of Sunday June 10th on the Trinity Mead Development, not to mention the Tea-cups and tressle tables, to adorn the many cakes that would surely follow!  Then came the people!  Not hoards, but a collection of families and couples from all over the Trinity Mead Development, with them were the picnic rugs, plates of homemade goodies and of course the finest china that Stratford has to offer!

To celebrate in style, Yarnold’s Budgens even pledged a free glass of Pimms to each and every adult that joined in the celebrations.  Also organised were many informal races and games for the children, best dressed adults and a prize for every child that brought along a teddy bear!
Finally, and new to the community this year was the announcement of the winning front gardens on the development, know as Blooming Trinity Mead!  The winner and two runners up are to be awarded a plaque to proudly display in their gardens, kindly donated by Yarnold’s Budgens.

The reason to celebrate, well there are lots.  Amongst them were: The Queen’s Jubilee, the start of Summer, The annual Big Lunch event, but most of all because we are a lovely development, in a beautiful part of the country.  We want to be a special community with neighbours that care about and look out for each other and a place where our children can play safely amongst their friends.  So please keep up to date with future events and clubs by looking at our community website www.trinitymead.com.

A Right Royal T Party – Sunday, 10 June

We have rescheduled the planned Jubilee get-together on Wordsworth Green, our usual venue, as it was felt most people had other arrangements.

However, it would not be right to allow such a special event to pass without celebrating in some way with our friends and neighbours.  So join us for:

‘A Right Royal T Party’

 Sunday June 10th from 2 – 4pm

Wordsworth Green

We invite you to bring picnic blankets, gazebo/tents, if the weather looks wet; drink, nibbles and a cake / cakes to share.  We will be setting up a large table to display the cakes to share.  We will be organising some fun games for adults and children including tea cup and saucer races and tug of war.

We invite you to wear RED, WHITE and BLUE and children to dress a teddy in our country’s colours.

Yarnold’s Budgens are kindly supporting the event and providing a FREE Glass of Pimms to all attending adults!  Please come along and join in this lovely community event!  Posters and banners will be going up around the development in the next 10 days, and further posts can be read on the this site www.trinitymead.com

Let’s make this our biggest and best event yet!
