Theft Of Bicycles And Vehicles In Stratford

The Stratford Safer Neighbourhood Team have an update on the recent spate of thefts in Trinity Mead and other parts of Stratford

As previously reported on this site there have been several thefts of high value bicycles in Stratford District over recent weekends.  Warwickshire Police have managed to recover some, but not all, of the cycles.

It is believed that a group of white, Eastern European males, aged between 18 and 25 years, dressed in hoodies and caps are responsible.  The group are using a white van to take the cycles away.  Continue reading Theft Of Bicycles And Vehicles In Stratford

Please Lock Your Bikes Away!

Please be on your guard and lock away your bicycles.  People on Trinity Mead and Banbury Road have had bikes stolen on Monday night either from in front of their houses or by the thieves gaining access to garages.  On a previous evening someone came across some supposedly abandoned bikes which were presumed to have been dumped by the thieves ready for a lorry to pick them up later. So if you see some bikes where they shouldn’t be please let the Police know, as they may be stolen and awaiting collection by the thieves.

Please also do not leave any valuables in your cars as one resident’s car was broken into on Monday night and personal goods were removed.

If you have any information that would be of use to the police please do call PCSO Martin Mansell on 01789 414111  voice 16112   and leave a voicemail or email him on Martin.Mansell@warwickshire.pnn.police.uk – they need any information on these thefts that we can give them to help catch the thieves.

Has anybody seen anything?

I am sorry to report that there have been several incidents of theft on Amis Way in the past couple of weeks.

If you may have seen or heard anything suspicious whilst walking or driving through Amis Way, however unimportant you might think these details to be, please contact PCSO Martin Mansell on 01789 414111 – or contact crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.

The first incident involves a car key burglary followed by the theft of the vehicle.  This was a top of the range BMW X5 grey estate.

The next incidents involved the theft of six high value bicycles, plus expensive golf clubs, all from different garages along Amis Way.

The final incident involved the theft of high value fireworks from a motor vehicle parked on Amis Way.

Thank you for your help and keep ‘em peeled!

Kind regards

PSCO Martin Mansell, Stratford SNT
