This page is being constructed as a result of hearing a constant meowing outside my window this morning. On investigation I discovered a beautiful young, pure white cat – maybe lost, hopefully just exploring.
From time to time pets do go missing and maybe this development can be as confusing for them as it can be for new postmen or friends visiting us for the first time!
So, if you lose a family pet why not get everyone to join you on the lookout?
And, if you find a lost looking pet you too can notify us and see if we can match missing pet with owner.
First step – go to the Contact Us tab and submit an email with the details of the pet you have lost or found. Please also add a phone number so we can contact you to get more details, photo etc.
I will then put out a blog post (pictures can be added) with the details – although this will not stay on the front page long, as each successive blogpost will push it down, anyone looking for a lost animal or bereft owner can click on Lost and Found in the right hand column and search through the posts to try and locate the animal.
Thanks to Susan Finch who has recommended that owners also contact the local radio station, Touch FM, and their website as they have a “Pets Reunited” page. Thank you, Susan.
Please let us know if this helps re-unite owners with their pets – we love happy endings! Also we can then close the post so that it does not confuse current searches.
If you would like to make suggestions for this page please also submit an email with your thoughts.
